This FAQ guide is intended as a quick look up resource for questions players might have about the invention system. It by far is not the final authority and occasionally information may chance in game faster than it appears here. Q: Do I get Sets Bonuses Regardless of where I put the enhancements?
A: No, unfortunately, you only get the bonuses when they are slotted into a single power. As they're slotted in, the bonus listing on the pop-up information will highlight in a light green to show that you have gained that bonus. If it doesn't, then you have enhancements from different sets, or else they aren't slotted into the right power. On the plus side, this does mean that you can claim bonuses from duplicate sets multiple times by having the same sets in different powers.
Q: How many time can I acquire a particular set bonus?
A: There are really two answers to this question. The first is that you can slot them as many times as you have powers to fit to get the bonuses. This answer is misleading though due to the second, and more correct answer.
This would be that the restriction on claiming bonuses is not based on what set you have, but on the number of times you can claim a particular % bonus, which is 5. The way this works is that you can only claim things like "Jump +4%" 5 times, but you can also claim "Jump +2%" 5 times as well, since the % number is different. Similarly, "Jump +4%" doesn't block you from claiming "Run +4%" 5 times either as it is a different modifier.
